Due South proudly offers 3 family apartments specifically curated for the needs of veterans and fist responders seeking to reunite and rebuild their family environment after years of separation due to trauma and extended periods of working away.

Each apartment seamlessly blends modern amenities with old-world charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for families.  

Immerse yourself in the picturesque surrounding beside the River Mersey, where tranquillity and natural beauty abound.

Every apartment comes complete with its own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a private courtyard , a space for families to reconnect.

Situated only minutes away from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal and Shipwreck Beach, our apartments offers convenient access to various attractions.  Shops, parks, bike tracks, and beaches are all within walking distance, fostering a sense of community and ease.

A local river ferry is available to transport you across the Mersey to the Devonport CBD, adding a touch of exploration to your stay.

Designed with the specific needs of veterans and first responder families in mind, these apartments serve as a haven for escape, reconnection, and exploration in the beautiful landscapes of Tasmania.

At Due South, we understand the importance of creating spaces that facilitate healing, bonding, and rediscovery for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

These apartments are available between the months of July and November each year for a mid year winter escape.
